My favourite tea time crunchy munchy as a child and now! Food brings the family and friends together, this is a perfect way to spend the evening. Trust me on this one :) All it needs is 5 minutes of prep work...

CHILLI BONDA POPS |
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh curd
- 1 cup maida
- 4 green chillis
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 tsp sugar
- pinch of baking soda
- salt as needed
- Oil to deep fry
- skewers
Method:
- Mix maida and curd in a bowl. This is your batter for the bonda pops.
- Coarsely grind jeera and chillis along with salt. Add this to the batter.
- sprinkle the baking soda and sugar. Mix till well combined.
- Heat enough oil to deep fry.
- On medium flame, drop the batter as per the size of the bonda you would like into the hot oil. Please be careful when you do this.
- It may stick to the pan, hold the wok steady and use a spatula to free from the base.
- Allow it to turn golden brown and cook evenly.
- Remove the bondas using a spatula and place it on paper towels to soak any excess oil.
- Pop each bonda on a skewer enjoy it hot and dip it with your favourite sauce or tomato ketchup!
