Ingredients:
- 2 cups grated coconut
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 3 tbsp ghee
- food colour - optional
Method:
- Mix the grated coconut and sugar in a bowl for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Heat the pan on medium flame and then add the mixture of coconut and sugar for 10 minutes stirring continuously.
- Add the milk and stir continuously. The milk will condense.
- Now add ghee and mix well. Stir until there is no trace of any liquid but just tad bit sticky to make into small laddus.
- If you like add small pieces of cashew nuts before you make the balls.
- Make the balls when the mixture is still warm.
